Changes coming to FLSA overtime law?

Statistics show that almost 80% of employers are in violation of the FLSA overtime laws. Given the complexity and nuances of the FLSA overtime provisions, this is not surprising. According to the Department of Labor, President Obama has asked Secretary of Labor Tom Perez to update the FLSA’s overtime provisions, including simplifying the rules. Only time will tell.
